All around the boot, 2 cm up from the sole, there is a reinforcement made of extra-durable rubber—very popular among mountaineers and those who frequently hike on rocky terrain. The interior features a faux fur lining with Thinsulate® insulation. The outsole is made of polyurethane, which provides excellent traction, protects against heat loss, and—most importantly—is much softer and more flexible than Vibram®. The sole’s shock-absorbing properties provide maximum protection for your joints against impact. The unique tread pattern prevents slipping and keeps dirt from sticking. HRT stainless steel hooks and eyelets protect the leather from being worn down by laces. Operating temperature range: -5°C to -30°C.
