AGM PVS-14 NW1 Night Vision Monocular, NVG, White Phosphorus The AGM PVS-14 night vision monocular is a high-quality, durable, lightweight, multi-purpose night vision device that has repeatedly proven its effectiveness in combat. The PVS-14 was originally developed for the U.S. Armed Forces to conduct nighttime operations. This monocular is used worldwide in the most challenging conditions. The AGM PVS-14 monocular is a fully functional analog device. It weighs 320 g. The device features manual gain control, an automatic shut-off function in bright light, and a built-in infrared (IR) illuminator. The bright-light shut-off function protects the high-quality photocathode tube. The PVS-14 can be used as a handheld device or mounted on the included head strap system. With the appropriate accessories, it can also be mounted on combat helmets (an adapter is included, but without a mounting bracket), providing night vision capabilities for daytime optical sights. The PVS-14 monocular meets MIL-STD-810G standards and demonstrates the highest quality in both design and performance.
