Bore Tech ELIMINATOR is a relatively new, patented product. Thanks to its improved chemical composition, ELIMINATOR exceeds the expectations of today’s shooters and is an environmentally friendly, ammonia-free product. ELIMINATOR quickly removes gunpowder residue (carbon), copper, and corrosion deposits from the barrel. ELIMINATOR is 100 percent: safe for the barrel, non-flammable, odorless, non-toxic, biodegradable, and contains substances that prevent rust formation. The ELIMINATOR formula was developed using new combinations of chemicals that had never before been used in the firearms industry. ELIMINATOR can simultaneously break down layers of carbon and copper deposits that have accumulated on the barrel wall with every shot. ELIMINATOR uses a mixture of chemical surfactants that easily weaken the bond between carbon residues and the barrel surface. In two stages, ELIMINATOR loosens the copper layer by restructuring its electronic structure. Afterward, using specially formulated binding agents, ELIMINATOR acts like a magnet—selectively attracting and trapping the copper, and preventing it from redepositing in the barrel bore. The subsequent quick and easy removal of any carbon and copper residues proceeds smoothly and without hindrance, completely ridding the barrel’s surface of residual carbon and copper molecules. Directions: Unload the firearm. 1. Using a ramrod, pass 3–4 patches moistened with ELIMINATOR through the barrel one at a time. Clean in one direction only, typically from the breech to the muzzle. 2. Screw a nylon brush onto the ramrod, moisten it with ELIMINATOR, and make 10 to 15 passes. When the brush exits the barrel, unscrew it, remove the ramrod, then screw the brush back on and perform the next pass. 3. Repeat step 1 and leave ELIMINATOR in the barrel for 3–5 minutes. 4. Run dry patches through the barrel until they come out clean. 5. Before short-term (up to two weeks) storage of the firearm, run a patch moistened with ELIMINATOR through the barrel. 6. Before long-term storage, use Bore Tech Friction Guard XP Gun Oil. 7. Before using the firearm, thread a dry patch onto the ramrod and pass it through the barrel. This will clear the barrel of any accidental dirt, dust, etc.
