Bore Tech RIMFIRE BLEND – a barrel cleaning solution with a special formula that effectively removes lead residue and carbon deposits. Thanks to extensive research, it fully meets the cleaning requirements for rimfire firearms and airguns. The unique formula of Bore Tech RIMFIRE BLEND includes ammonia-free ingredients that are virtually odorless and fully biodegradable. The formula simultaneously loosens layers of carbon, wax, and lead deposits that accumulate in the barrel with every shot. The formula loosens and removes deposits from the barrel bore, minimizing the time and effort required for cleaning. Bore Tech RIMFIRE BLEND is equally safe for cleaning barrels made of stainless steel, carbon steel, and chrome-plated steel. Using a ramrod, pass 3–4 patches moistened with RIMFIRE BLEND through the barrel in one direction, one at a time. Clean in only one direction, typically from the breech to the muzzle. 2. Screw a nylon brush onto the ramrod, soak it with Bore Tech RIMFIRE BLEND, and make 10 to 15 passes. As the brush exits the barrel, unscrew it, remove the cleaning rod, then screw the brush back on and perform the next pass. 3. Repeat step 1 and leave the RIMFIRE BLEND in the barrel for 5–10 minutes. 4. Run dry patches through the barrel until they come out clean. 5. Before short-term (up to two weeks) storage of the firearm, run a patch moistened with Bore Tech RIMFIRE BLEND through the barrel. 6. For long-term storage, use Bore Tech Friction Guard XP Gun Oil. 7. Before using the firearm, thread a dry patch onto the ramrod and run it through the barrel.
